Training in laser production

Permanova has accumulated a wealth of experience in laser safety and laser processes, and we want to share this knowledge with others who can benefit from it. We provide regular training in laser safety and hold tailor-made training sessions each year on things like our systems.

WHAT IS A LASER SAFETY OFFICER (LSO)?

Employers must appoint a specific person to monitor laser safety in the workplace. This person must be fully acquainted with the ways in which the laser equipment is used and with applicable regulations, including §10 of the Swedish Work Environment Authority’s Statute Book regarding workplaces where Class 3B and 4 lasers used.
The best way to familiarise yourself with the risks of laser processing and with the laws and standards that apply to laser machinery is to attend an LSO training course.
