Permaflex

PERMAFLEX is our standardised laser robot cell that embodies 30 years of laser experience and more than 200 deliveries of customised robot cells. In simple terms, we’ve packed all our knowledge into a single robot cell, for our customers like you to benefit from.

FPS

The Permanova FPS measures the focus position in the X-,Y-, and Z- coordinates. It also serves as a nozzle-centering monitor for cutting nozzles. Use the FPS to centre the beam, measure the beam position, adjust your robot TCP and get back to work! Make a stop at the FPS every now and then, to verify that the beam and the tool stay in shape.

Laser source

The lasers we use in the robotic systems usually come from well-known European manufacturers of solid-state lasers. We work with all of these suppliers and our process tools can be connected to all their lasers.

CSM – Cover Slide Monitor

Permanova’s CSM monitors the status of the safety glass during laser machining, primarily during laser welding, surfacing, and cutting. An optical sensor measures the amount of splash on the glass and a thermal sensor monitors the amount of dust on the glass.

Robots

Permanova works with all major manufacturers of industrial robots, and we can incorporate their products in our installations. We provide the robot with a suitable hose and cabling package depending on the application. Usually, a panel of air and process gas valves controlled by way of a distributed interface (bus I/O) is fitted on the upper arm of the robot.

WT04 welding optics

Permanova WT04 offers reliable optics for joining sheet metal with an optimal weld. The optics guide the high-power laser from the end of the fibre to the welding point on the workpiece.
